Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the raging “economic storm” and said he was laughing and making reels, while farmers, youth, women, workers and small traders were “crying”.

He wrote on the “Farmers, youth, women, workers and small traders are all in tears – the Prime Minister laughs and makes reels, while BJP members clap.” Gandhi said this is not leadership but a farce.

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said Modi wants the public to enjoy the “melody” of speeches while escaping the “misery” plundered by his government. “In the past 11 years, under the Modi government, the average debt per Indian has increased 11-fold…while the wealth of 229 tycoons, along with a newly added 26 billionaires, has skyrocketed.” $“Rs 97.50 crore,” Karg said on X.
