Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishor announced that the total asset value had exceeded its value $105 Crores and liabilities $5.78 Crores. The assets disclosed to his wife Jahanvi Das are there $112 crore with liabilities $55.38 lakh, according to the affidavit filed with his nomination papers for the Bankipore Assembly by-election on Monday.

The affidavit shows that Prashant Kishor owns valuable movable assets $22.20 Crores, while the declared movable assets of his wife are $99.52 Crores. Their son, Deepik Bharadwaj, has valuable movable assets $7.19 thousand.

Kishore stated that his source of income is work and profession, interest on bank deposits and dividends, while his wife’s income is from consulting, rent, interest on bank deposits and dividends.

Kishore has declared his profession as Consultant and Political Advisor, while his wife’s occupation is listed as MBBS and Senior Consultant for Special Projects at Apollo Indraprastha Hospital, New Delhi. According to the affidavit, Kishore has eight cases pending against him. The cases relate to unlawful assembly, rioting, obstruction of a public official in the performance of his duty among others.
