“Immigration and Customs Enforcement in San Diego has arrested Jaskaran Singh, a criminal alien from India, with a final order of removal. Singh’s criminal history includes hit and run. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings,” she wrote on X.

This comes a day after another Indian national, Jashanpreet Singh, was arrested by authorities in San Diego for his “criminal history that includes threatening to commit a crime with intent to terrorize, assault with a deadly weapon, and driving under the influence (DUI),” ERO said in a statement on X.

Singh will remain in ICE custody as deportation proceedings continue, officials said. These procedures decide whether a noncitizen will be removed from the United States.
