“I will continue my fast”: Sonam Wangchuk after “brutality against peaceful protesters”
Scientist and activist Sonam Wangchuk said on Monday that he will continue his fast on the 23rd, two days after he was arrested by Delhi Police from the Jantar Mantar protest site and taken to Safdarjung Hospital for treatment.
Wangchuk posted on social media a message stating that he had made the decision to continue his hunger strike due to the “brutality” with which peaceful protesters were treated today.
