Such people want to make the country “hollow,” he said.

Nabin said: “Parties like the virus and cockroaches are coming to the country. These are the people who want to make the country hollow. There is a need to pay attention to these viruses and cockroaches. The gang wants to divide the country.”

He made these remarks while addressing the BJP Telangana wing presidents.

‘Generation Z in India is not anti-establishment’

The BJP president also sought to define what Generation Z is, a term colloquially referring to the youth of the country, and said they are youth who do not question the constitution of the country but contribute to its growth.

Addressing students at an engineering college near Hyderabad, Nabin pointed out that India’s youth are not anti-establishment. He also referred to the recent protests in neighboring countries led by Generation Z, and said that the youth in India are working towards nation building.

“There is a lot of controversy about Generation Z. People have told me that youth have done agitations in some countries. They are being described as Generation Z agitations. India’s youth are not anti-establishment. India’s youth are working to build the country,” news agency PTI quoted him as saying.

Nabin also highlighted the “real” Generation Z referred to by some athletes and startup founders in the audience who, he said, were building their future and the future of the country.

The BJP president also indirectly taunted the protesters and said that they cannot be India’s Generation Z as they challenge the country’s ethos and constitution.

Rahul Gandhi ‘part-time politician’

Nabin was in Telangana to connect with the BJP in the state ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the state which currently houses the Revanth Reddy-led Congress government. He said the BJP would form a “dual-engine government” in Telangana in the upcoming Assembly elections, and pointed out how several BJP leaders, including Sushma Swaraj, had fought hard to form the state.

The BJP president attacked Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi while addressing BJP wing presidents and said that he is a “part-time politician”.

He also criticized the Congress for “disrespecting” former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, who belongs to the region, and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for granting him Bharat Ratna.

Janta’s cockroach party continues

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which started as a satirical online political group by Abhijit Debaki and quickly gained momentum, has not turned into a protest. Party founder, spokespersons and activist Sonam Wangchuk and other supporters are protesting indefinitely at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over leak of National Eligibility for Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG) papers and other loopholes in the education system.

Wangchuk on Sunday began an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, and on Monday urged people to join him in a one-day hunger strike at the site or from their states.
