A multi-crore Ferrari in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area went on a rampage after the driver lost control of it on Sunday, injuring at least three people after colliding with other vehicles, police said.

PTI news agency reported that two cars and a two-wheeler were damaged in the accident after the Ferrari driver lost control of the car, hit a pole on the barrier and then collided with an oncoming vehicle on the other side of the road.
The police said that three passengers in the two cars were injured and were taken to the hospital, adding that the accident likely occurred after the Ferrari’s brakes failed. The accident caused a traffic jam, prompting the police to issue a warning.
A police official was quoted as saying, “It appears to be a brake failure. The vehicle inspector will examine the vehicle to ascertain the exact cause.” The driver of the car was reportedly on his way to a wedding and tested negative for alcohol.
Driver of a luxury sports car valued at approx $3.5 crores, he told the police that he is in the real estate business. The multi-vehicle accident occurred on Route 45, near the residence of popular Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.
The luxury Ferrari is said to be registered under the name E Venkata Raja Reddy, while the identity of the man behind the wheels has not been revealed.
This comes almost a week after tobacco baron KK Mishra’s son Shivam Mishra was involved in a road accident after his speeding Lamborghini crashed, injuring three people in Kanpur. Shivam reportedly lost control of his Lamborghini Revoleto while driving at high speed and collided with an auto rickshaw and a stationary motorcycle before climbing the curb and hitting the pedestrian.
The auto-rickshaw driver, Tauseef Ahmed, and two motorcyclists, identified as Vishal and Sonu Tripathi, were injured in the accident.
While Shivam’s lawyer claimed that he was not driving the car at the time of the accident, videos recorded of the incident showed Shivam being pulled from the car by private guards.
