Class XII student Vedant Srivastava, who went viral after he got a wrong answer sheet from CBSE as part of the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, met with Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi where they spoke about the familiar insults directed at them, such as calling them “anti-national” and “deep state agents”.

They also mocked being called “Soros’ agents,” a reference to the Hungarian-American investor and philanthropist George Soros, whom the right-wing Hindutva movement accuses of funding a “leftist agenda” among other things.
“Show the faces of these ‘anti-citizens’…these ‘terrorists’,” Gandhi said with a laugh as he posted a 90-second clip of what appeared to be a larger video scheduled to be released through Sunday, May 31.
In his comment on X’s post, Gandhi wrote in a mixture of tone, mocking the allegations and raising the CBSE issue.
“A revealing chat with my fellow ‘anti-Soros agents,'” he wrote.
“Vedant and his friends are bright, brave young Indians who asked simple questions to CBSE and the Modi government – but received insults instead of answers. They deserve a bright and secure future. We will make sure they get it,” he added.
