When will the results of the exit poll be out?
Based on previous election day patterns, exit poll numbers are expected to be released once voting in West Bengal ends.
According to the Election Commission, polling in Bengal is scheduled to end at 6 pm. However, those waiting in line at polling stations will be allowed to cast their votes.
According to the timing available to us, exit poll forecasts will begin after 6:30 p.m
This also comes in view of the polling authority’s regulations, which prohibit the publication of any forecasts until after voting is completed and the electronic voting machines are closed.
In a new notice today, the European Commission has repeated its “silent period” from April 9, 7 a.m. until April 29, 6:30 p.m.
Where can I watch exit polls?
Once restrictions on the media are lifted, exit poll forecasts will be available for voters to gauge who is likely to form the next government across the four states and the union territory of Puducherry.
Forecasts will also be published for the by-elections held in five states – Karnataka, Nagaland, Tripura, Gujarat and Maharashtra. The Goa bypoll was canceled before voting day
