The Uttar Pradesh Police is investigating the death of three sisters who allegedly jumped from a window at the Bharat City Society in Ghaziabad’s Tila Mode area on Wednesday.Police are investigating the triple suicide in Bharat City Society. The sisters—Nishika (16), Prachi (14) and Pakhi (12)—jumped from the ninth floor of the residential complex early Wednesday morning.
The girls were rushed to hospital but were declared brought dead. Their father Chetan Kumar claimed that the girls had been playing Korean games for about three years and had stopped going to school during this period.
What were the games?Several games are mentioned in the diary, including Puppy Playtime, a survival horror title featuring puzzles and three girl-admired characters; The Baby in Yellow, known for its unsettling and frightening narrative; and Evil Nun, which involves theft and escape challenges, according to an NDTV report.
It also refers to the Ice Cream Man game, which focuses on suspense-driven gameplay, and describes Ice Game as a puzzle or strategy-based game. Also, the diary notes the gameplay content of popular gaming channels like Techno Gamer and BrightGamers, the report added.
It also featured their love for “Korean actors, K-pop, movies and Korean BL dramas” and “Japanese actors, songs, movies and Japanese BL dramas”.
According to the police, the diary contains repeated references to the girls’ love for Korea and what they described as attempts by their families to make them leave, PTI reported.
“We love Koreans. Love, love, love,” the diary calls itself a “true-life story” and urges readers to believe what it says.

On the condition of anonymity, an official of the residents’ organization said the girl’s father was under severe financial stress following heavy losses in the stock market, PTI reported.
Alleged to have lost more than that ₹2 crore and at one point sold a mobile phone to pay electricity bills, the man said, due to financial crisis there were frequent quarrels at home.
DCP Patil said, as part of the investigation, the police are also looking into the financial condition of the family.
Stating that the case is currently being treated as a suicide, DCP Nimish Patil said, “Our investigation will initially focus on verifying whether the girls were actually using a task-based app as claimed by their father and if it forced them to commit suicide,” reported PTI.
The DCP added that, so far, the police have no evidence to confirm that the girls are using any Korean task-based app.
“We have nothing to confirm whether the girls are actually using an app and whether it is a Korean app. So we will ask parents for information about any knowledge of task-based apps they may have,” she said.
