“Our country must become a state of equality. Social justice must prevail everywhere. All states must get self-rule, all must get everything. This was also the aspiration of rationalist leader Periyar Ramasamy and former prime ministers CN Annadurai and M Karunanidhi,” he said.

“By making all this a reality, we will lift Tamil Nadu into a trillion-dollar economy by 2030. We will come back, and we will win again and again. We will leave no one behind in this Tamil Nadu development journey,” the Prime Minister said.

In the last five years, the exemplary Dravidian government has done great work and achieved tremendous achievements in all fields with dedication. “We planned to prepare a blueprint on how to develop Tamil Nadu, and the path we should follow…We went directly to 1.80 crore families in Tamil Nadu and listened to their dreams, needs and expectations,” he said.

Based on the views expressed by the people, and giving priority to all important views, he announced his vision for the next phase of Tamil Nadu’s development, namely ‘Tamil Nadu 2030’.

He identified 14 important sectors for development, including housing for the poor, health initiatives, establishing mental health counseling centers in every region, agriculture and farmer welfare, school and higher education, establishing central laboratories and centers of excellence to promote research and innovation, integrating artificial intelligence with education, and establishing an artificial intelligence laboratory in every educational institution.

Welfare of backward classes, Adi Dravidar welfare, rural development, industry, livestock sector, dairy and fisheries, municipal administration, MSMEs, development of highways using AI monitoring, intelligent transport systems to extend the life of bridges and roads, reducing accidents, handloom and weaving will be the focus areas.
