How is the score calculated? Explain the best 5 methods
CBSE allows students to appear in up to six subjects, but the official Class 12 result will be calculated based on the best five marks in the subjects. If a student obtains low grades in a sixth elective or additional subject, this will not affect the result or percentage scored. Only the five subjects with the best scores are counted.
