19 kg commercial LPG cylinder price hiked ₹49 from today, February 1, 2026. The price hike, reported by news agency ANI, comes as part of the monthly revision, Union Budget 2026 Finance Minister will present Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament.

The move will affect the cost of restaurants, hotels, street food vendors and other commercial establishments that depend on LPG for day-to-day operations.

However, domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) price remains the same.

India imports more than 60% of its domestic LPG consumption. For domestic LPG, the government continues to change the effective price for consumers.

The price of commercial LPG is determined independently by the marketing agencies, accordingly Ministry of Oil.

In the last monthly revision of LPG prices, commercial cylinder prices in Delhi on January 1, 2026 were ₹1691.50, which was almost higher than in December ₹110.

Still, February 2026 prices are lower than last year February. Compared to 1740.50 now, the price was on this day last year ₹1797.

Prices are set by public-sector entities including Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, in line with changes in international market prices and other market conditions.

International market prices affect the import parity price of petroleum products. These include exchange rates, ocean freight, insurance and duties, among other costs.
