When YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, popularly known as UK07 Rider, was seriously injured in a car accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Ghaziabad, a friend and follower of the social media influencer rescued him from the mangled SUV.

The incident occurred on Saturday near Hawa Hawaii Restaurant in the Masouri Police Station area. The event was filmed live on social media, with Dobhall saying “goodbye” to thousands of followers before crashing his car into a barrier. He is currently in the ICU and recovering from his injuries.
A friend and follower of the influencer arrived at the scene before police took him to a nearby hospital in Meerut, police said.
According to UP Police, Anurag was heading towards Delhi from Meerut when his SUV crashed near Hawa Hawai Airplane restaurant and turned to the opposite lane in Meerut.
“The accident was so severe that his car shook and its wheels fell off. We received information about the accident on emergency line No. 112 from his friends.” Ajay Kumar, station house officer at Masouri police station, said.
Surendra Nath Tiwari, deputy commissioner of police, Ghaziabad (rural), told HT that they received information about the incident on the emergency helpline number from his friends. When the police arrived at the scene, his friends had taken him to the nearest hospital.
The friend and follower rushed to the place
Police also said that one of his friends and social media followers, Ashish Chaudhary, from Mehrauli, was the first to reach the scene.
Ashish told HT that he came after watching the live video on social media. He said: “I am aware of DME. My friends and I rushed to the accident scene and rescued him from the mangled SUV. Local residents also helped us at the accident scene.”

Officials informed that the influencer was later transferred to another hospital in Delhi and was in stable condition. They added that the exact cause of the accident will be determined after recording the statements of the victim and his family members.
Anurag, a resident of Dehradun, told his viewers that he felt completely alone and had no one left to call during his Instagram live. He was seen driving his SUV on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, with the speedometer showing 140-150 kmph.

Multiple clips from the live broadcast also went viral, showing the influencer emotional and turning the wheel sharply.
The police said that based on preliminary investigations, it is suspected to be a case of suicide, adding that further investigations are still underway to determine the exact cause.
Meanwhile, in a recent picture shared from Anurag’s Instagram Stories, the influencer is seen recovering and resting on a hospital bed. He was seen holding the hand of his friend who was sitting next to him.
