As many as 38 candidates from the Residential Training Academy of Jamia Millia Islamia (RCA) have qualified for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, the results of which were declared on Friday.

One of the officials said that among the successful candidates were 15 women, which confirms the role of the Jordan Media Institute in promoting equality and inclusion. Four candidates secured positions in the top 50, with All India Rankings (AIR) of 7, 14, 24 and 29.

Vice President of the Jordan Media Institute, Mazhar Asif, congratulated the successful candidates and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the faculty and administrative staff at the RCA Center for Training and Career Planning.

Asif said: “On behalf of all GMI members, I extend my sincere congratulations to all our wonderful candidates who have made us proud. The exceptional success achieved by our RCA-trained students demonstrates the culture of hard work, perseverance and determination at Johns Hopkins, which are key ingredients for success in one of the country’s toughest exams.”

“JMI is committed to serving the nation by contributing to the administrative machinery of India and nurturing future leaders for civil services examinations,” he added.

The Registrar of the Jordan Media Institute, Dr. Mahtab Alam Radwi, also congratulated the students, describing it as a proud moment for the university, and thanked all teaching and non-teaching staff members.

“Given that an unprecedented number of students, especially women, have qualified for the coveted exam, it is a proud moment for the university,” he said.

He added: “My best wishes and congratulations to all the successful candidates who turned their dreams into reality and became a source of inspiration for future aspirants who are training at the Jordan Media Institute’s RCA.”

Samina Bano, professor in charge at RCA, credited the success to the “extremely hard work” done by the students and the encouragement of the institute management.
