On X, Gandhi said that young people in India today are “being punished for daring to dream” and that hard work no longer guarantees success. He said that every leak of papers, cancellation of exams, and cessation of the recruitment campaign was a systematic failure and a blow to the dreams of millions of students and job seekers.

Gandhi acknowledged the frustration and anger among the youth and said that when the government refuses to listen, people must raise their voices louder. He asked the students to come together in Kota and make it impossible to ignore their concerns.

“Let us come together and become a roar that cannot be ignored. We start from Kota, then we reach every corner of the country,” Gandhi said, describing the campaign as a battle for the future of India’s youth.

The Congress has sought to make issues such as examination irregularities, paper leaks and delays in government recruitment a major political issue, targeting the Center over concerns affecting students and job aspirants. Gandhi said he stood with the students in their struggle for fair employment opportunities.

The event will be held on June 17 at Shri Ram Rangmanch, Dussehra Maidan in Kota. This will be the first stop for a national awareness program under the slogan “Save Education, Save Your Future.”

The campaign is scheduled to travel to Allahabad on July 10, Patna on July 11, and Delhi on July 14.

CJP student protests

This comes amid a nationwide campaign by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a satirical front that has been staging protests across the country demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities, including NEET paper leaks and issues with CBSE’s screen marking system.

Actor Prakash Raj joined students and activists at Freedom Park in Bengaluru on Sunday during a protest organized by the CJP. Addressing the gathering alongside activist Sonam Wangchuk and CJP founder Abhijit Debaki, Raj said India’s youth have decided to fight for their future and called for greater accountability.

Similar protests were held in Hyderabad, Delhi and Pune with Wangchuk describing the movement as an attempt to raise awareness and protect the rights of students rather than seeking political power.
