Zendaya’s way of dressing Drama The press tour has taken another stylish turn.
The Emmy-winning actress stepped out at the A24 premiere in Rome in a “borrowed” Giorgio Armani Privé dress made for Cate Blanchett and recently worn by the Oscar winner in another Italian city to the opening ceremony of the Venice Film Festival in August 2025.
But doubling down on the whole “borrowed” trend, Blanchett has also worn it before. Blanchett has long been a muse for Giorgio Armani, and previously wore an Armani Privé look to the SAG Awards in 2022. She has long been known for rewearing looks from her personal archive as a way to promote sustainability, and eco-friendly moves carried out alongside longtime stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

As for the gown, the custom Giorgio Armani Privé black silk column gown features a deep opal neckline. As for the “Loaned” part, Zendaya plays the title role opposite Robert Pattinson DramaThe film follows a happily engaged couple whose relationship is tested when an unexpected discovery by the bride throws their wedding week off track.
Playing on the plot — and perhaps as a cheeky wink to the news that she recently married longtime beau Tom Holland — Zendaya and her stylist Lou Roach curated a series of looks that keep with the wedding tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.” It is a well-known mixture that, according to Victorian laws, is meant to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck to the couple.
Zendaya wore “something new” to the Paris premiere in a custom Louis Vuitton dress with a slit back and an oversized black bow that doubles as a train. Her “Something Old” came courtesy of the Vivienne Westwood dress she wore to the Los Angeles premiere after originally wearing it to her first Oscars in 2015. She also appeared in “Something Blue” in a sheer McQueen dress, which she wore during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Roach recently spoke with Hollywood Reporter About their dressing style and why it makes sense for her films Sand Dunes, United And more.
