Announcing the new release date, the filmmakers wrote: “‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grownups’ is a film we conceptualized with a vision to create cinema for a global audience.
Filmed in Kannada and English, it has been designed with an aim to connect with viewers at home and around the world. After years of dedicated work, we were excited to share our film with all of you on March 19. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal of reaching and connecting with the largest possible audience.
Therefore, in the interest of our partners and audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release.Directed by Jeetu Mohandas, the film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in the lead roles.
