As reported by Bollywood Hungama, speaking at a press conference, he claimed that he had become uncomfortable with what he saw as an attempt to present a one-sided image of Salman Khan.“I was very excited because I was supposed to play the role of superstar Salman Khan. I have also started shooting for the film.
But when the intention is negative, being an actor, I don’t want to be a part of such a film. No doubt they have a point. But you show superstar Salman Khan in a negative way and show a one-sided narrative. The actor also claimed that he did not get an official agreement or complete script before the shooting began. According to him, the quest to clarify the direction of the project ultimately led to his decision to exit.
“I left because I did not sign the agreement. We shot for two days, and I asked them for the agreement and script because they were making a one-sided narrative against a star. So, they understood that I would not fall into their trap. I asked for the agreement to know what all the clauses were in it. After a long time, they showed me things, and it was revealed that I had to speak negatively against the star in the media.
So, all these things were against my ethics.”
