Mohsin Akhtar, ex-husband of actress Urmila Matondkar, has married Nida Bhatt almost two years after his split from the Bollywood star. The Kashmir-born businessman and former model announced the news on Instagram on Sunday, June 14, with photos from the wedding.
The post showed the couple in coordinated traditional outfits as Mohsin spoke about love, healing, faith and gratitude while thanking Nida for bringing light into his life.

According to The Economic Times, Mohsin Akhtar shared several pictures from his wedding with Nida Bhatt on Instagram. The photos showed the couple wearing elegant wedding clothes. Mohsen wore a traditional cream-white suit with floral embroidery, while Nida chose an off-white sharara set with golden details.
She completed her bridal look with a transparent veil and heavy jewelry.One of the pictures showed Mohsen getting down on one knee and putting a ring on Nidaa’s finger. Another showed the newlyweds laughing as they stood together. The wedding also included dessert and cake placed on the table in front of them. Other photos showed the couple participating in official marriage rituals.In his comment, Mohsen spoke of “pure intentions, sincere love, patience and gratitude.”
He also wrote about healing, faith, and trust in the divine plan. He said he felt happy to find love again and thanked Nida for her honesty, presence, love and support.

Mohsin Akhtar initially worked as a model and actor before entering the business world. Quoting The Indian Express, The Economic Times reported that he moved to Mumbai at the age of 21 and became second runner-up in the Miss India contest in 2007. He got his first commercial break opposite Preity Zinta.In 2009, Mohsen appeared for the first time in a film called “It’s a Man’s World.” He later appeared in a small role in Farhan Akhtar’s thriller drama ‘Luck By Chance’.Although Mohsin did not build a big career in Bollywood, he later found success in Kashmiri embroidery. His work has been associated with fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s label.Mohsin and Urmila Matondkar, who have an age gap of 10 years, reportedly met at Manish Malhotra’s niece’s wedding in 2014.
