Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan has been quite candid about her relationship with fitness trainer Nupur Shekhari. The two had been dating for a long time and got married two years ago.
When her father tied the knot with Jori Spratt, a video from earlier this year resurfaced online, in which the couple got candid about their first fight and their struggles with periodic depression.

In an interview in April, the couple spoke candidly about their life together. While speaking with Vibor Adnani on his Instagram page, ‘Shutter Bonsai’, Ira candidly shared how excited she was the first time they fought, which made Shikhari laugh and asked her to continue telling the story.
During the interview, Ira revealed that she was excited about the fact that they had a fight, because she wanted Shikhari to take the medicine even though he was refusing to take it.However, she shared more context and added that she suffers from periodic depression, even though her husband is her biggest supporter. She shared during the interview, saying, “We have an argument. Kabhi kabhi, woh mere depression se thak jaata hai (Sometimes, he gets tired of my depression).”
I suffer from cyclical depression…it comes in stages…and sometimes, there are dips. “We’re both better at catching them now.”To this, Nupur was quick to reply that he doesn’t care about the name, he just knows that he will be there when Ira feels down and things are not good. He also added in the interview: “You want to call it depression or whatever…Hold it. I don’t understand…All I understand is that you’re in pain. You’re in pain.”
Therefore, we will do whatever is required for this. We will fight this together.

During the same interview, Khan and Shikhari also shared how they were able to meet for the first time and how their relationship blossomed.
