He was 49 years old. His unexpected death has shocked many in the Tamil film industry.According to a News 18 report, he had been diagnosed with bone cancer and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai for the past few months. Despite medical efforts, he was unable to recover. His family announced that the final rites will be held tomorrow morning in his hometown, Sujananapuram, in Coimbatore district.

Ramesh Subramaniam’s journey from assistant director to film director

Ramesh Subramaniam started his film career as an assistant director under director Suseenthiran. He later made his directorial debut with the film Vil Ambu, which featured Harish Kalyan, Sri and Yogi Babu in important roles.
