Joju George’s Varavu has been postponed once again, just a day before it hits theaters on June 12. The Shaji Kailas directorial had already moved from its previous release date of May 1, and the latest delay came at the last minute.
The filmmakers announced the change on social media, but did not share a new release date or clarify when the film will now hit theaters.

According to Cinema Express, the team behind Varavu said the decision was in its efforts to give viewers the “best possible cinematic experience”. The film makers did not reveal any other reason for the delay. They also did not say whether the postponement was related to production, distribution, certification or scheduling issues.The delay adds another wait for fans who expected the film to open in theaters on June 12. The film was originally scheduled to release on May 1, but the makers pushed it to June. Their latest collaboration continues the action drama, where family strife, revenge and long-buried disputes are at the heart of the story.The cast of ‘Varavu’ includes Vaani Viswanath, Murali Gopi, Arjun Ashokan, Sanya Ayyappan, Sukanya, Baburaj, Vincey Alucious, among others.
JoJo George leads the film as Polly.Naisy Reji has produced the film Varavu under the banner Olga Productions. S Saravanan handled the cinematography. Shameer Mohammed edited the film while Sam CS composed the music.The makers of the game have not announced the revised release date. A new update is expected only after the team finalizes the next theatrical plan for ‘Varavu’.
