mad men and Daring Writer and producer Semi Chellas has landed her next series project on Netflix.
The streamer won the bidding war Long nowa thriller created by Chilas that revolves around a man who races against time to solve his own murder. Netflix will develop the project as an ongoing series, with Chellas as showrunner. She will executive produce with Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan of Aggregate Films, which has a first-look deal with Netflix.
Description for Long now It reads: “A man has seven hours to solve his own murder with the reluctant help of his estranged ex-wife. A propulsive thriller that explores the value of time and asks, What would you do if you had one day to live?”
Chellas has been nominated for an Emmy Award three times for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series mad men She shared the show’s Outstanding Drama Series nods from 2013 to 2015.
