Peter Sutherland is about to embark on his final mission Night agent.
Season 4 of the spy thriller, which began production in Los Angeles, will be the show’s last, Netflix announced Monday. Gabriel Basso plays Sutherland, a former FBI agent who takes on increasingly dangerous missions as part of a counterintelligence group within the bureau called Night Action.

The third season, which premiered in February, spent four weeks in both the worldwide indoor top ten chart and in the US Nielsen streaming ratings, peaking in its second week. However, it did not reach the peaks of the first two seasons: the first season spent 17 weeks in the top 10 worldwide on Netflix (under a different metric than the streamer currently uses) and seven weeks on the US Nielsen charts, while the second season lasted six weeks worldwide and five in the Nielsen ratings.
Season 3 ended with Peter’s boss, FBI Deputy Director Mosley (Albert Jones), telling Peter that he was getting a partner. Titus Welliver, Trevante Rhodes, Lee Jun Ji, and Elizabeth Lail join the cast for the final season; The season three cast also featured Fola Evans-Akingbola, Louis Herthum, Amanda Warren Ward Horton, David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison, Stephen Moyer, Genesis Rodriguez, and Callum Vinson.
