Godulkin University closes its doors.
Fifth Genthe sub-display of Boys which focuses on college students with superpowers, was canceled after two seasons on Prime Video. The second and final season of the show concluded in October 2025.
The news comes as Boys In the middle of its final season on Prime, and the Amazon-owned streamer is preparing a prequel series, High Voughtto premiere in 2027. Another spin-off, Boys: Mexicoalso under development. some Fifth Gen The characters are set to appear in the remaining episodes of the series Boys — fitting, since the spinoff’s final scenes showed the main characters being recruited into the resistance against Vought and Homelander (Anthony Starr).
“While we wish we could continue the celebration for another season at Godulkin, we are committed to continuing to do so Fifth Gen Character stories in Boys Season 5 and other VCU projects are on the horizon. “You’ll see them again.” Fifth Gen Executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg said in a statement.
Fifth Gen Season 2 stars Jaz Sinclair, Lizzy Broadway, Maddy Phillips, London Thore, Derek Loh, Asa German, Sean Patrick Thomas and Hamish Linklater.
Developed by Craig Rosenberg, Goldberg, and Kripke Fifth Gen Executive produced by showrunner Michelle Fazekas, Seth Rogen, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darrick Robertson, Michaela Starr, Uri Marmur, Thomas Schnoz, Steve Boyum and Brant Engelstein. Lorelei Alanis, Gabriel Garcia and Jessica Chu were members of the European Parliament.
Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios produce Boys and its offshoots with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film and Point Gray Pictures.
