Whether you’re itching to binge on Taylor Sheridan’s food Madison Or Paramount’s latest true crime offering, My Killer Father: The Green Hollow MurdersParamount+ subscription is non-negotiable. And while the streaming service recently canceled the free trial directly through its site, there are two little-known ways to get Paramount+ for free through partner subscriptions, DirecTV and Walmart+.
How to get a free trial of Paramount+
Starting off strong with DirecTV, customers who sign up for one of the streaming service’s signature packages — Entertainment, Choice, or Ultimate — will get the first three months of HBO Max, Paramount+ Premium (formerly Paramount+ with Showtime), STARZ, MGM+, and Cinemax included (see here for more details on these premium add-ons). Additionally, DirecTV offers a free five-day trial for any plan, which means new members can stream Paramount+ (and everything else the packages have to offer) at no cost during the trial period.
Moving on to the second option, deal-savvy streamers can also enjoy free access to Paramount+ through a Walmart+ membership, which includes selecting Paramount+ Essential or Peacock Premium is included in its subscription. And since Walmart+ offers a free 30-day trial, members can stream Paramount+ for free during that period. Learn more about Walmart+ streaming deals and prices here.
