Tessa Thompson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will star in the psychological thriller directed by Aoife McArdle. Foxfinder.
He will join them Adolescence Owen Cooper’s outbreak Foxfinderbased on Dawn King’s award-winning play, with a screenplay co-written by director McArdle and playwright.
The lives of Judd and Sam, a grieving couple clinging to routine and survival, are turned upside down when William, a coldly religious government “fox detector,” arrives at their struggling farm on a mission to root out a designated enemy – the fox. “As paranoia deepens and absurd regulations tighten their grip, suspicion replaces love and truth itself begins to distort.”
Cornerstone and Logical Pictures Group will share international sales and distribution. Sales will launch in Cannes, and production is scheduled to begin in Germany this summer.
The film is a Rabbit Track Pictures and Elation Pictures production developed in collaboration with Film4 and BFI (National Lottery Funding Grant), and co-produced by Komplizen Film and Trimafilm. In addition to support from Film4 and the BFI, funders include Logical Pictures Group, the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF), the Bavarian Fund FFF Bayern, and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.

Rabbit Track Pictures’ Katie Kalitsky is producing, along with Trimafilm’s Janine Jackowski and David Armati-Lechner. Executive producers are Farhana Bhola and Kate Kane for Film4 and Fred Fiore and Ryan Wickers for Logical.
