As PEOPLE reported, the West Jordan Police Department has confirmed that there is an ongoing and active domestic violence situation between Mortensen and Paul. They revealed that Mortensen contacted the department sometime last week, and the new video evidence he provided is believed to date back to mid-2024.None of the people involved in the case provided new statements regarding this issue. However, according to the report, “Dakota has a pattern of provoking Taylor, filming her when she starts to respond, and threatening to leak the videos to ruin her image. They are completely misguided because they make Taylor look like the problem by discounting everything Dakota did to cause the situation in the first place.”Paul is also currently on probation for another domestic violence case filed against her in 2023.
A few days ago, the Draper Police Department also announced there was an active domestic violence case involving the two stars, with allegations going both ways. On March 19, Mortensen filed a protective order against Paul, and a formal court date was set for April 7.
