A group of 10 producers booked a trip to the Sundance Institute’s Producers Lab.

The institute has revealed the list of its upcoming laboratories scheduled for feature film producers from July 13 to 18, and for documentary film producers from July 20 to 25. The labs will be held at the Ucross Foundation in Claremont, Wyoming.

The featured producers and their projects are Jaelyn Ellis The resemblanceKara Grace Miller with Make me a pizzaNatalie Remblakowski with SweetwaterMary Alice Rodriguez with How not to drown in a glass of waterand Sean Weiner with The end of all rivers In terms of the feature film. Those selected for the documentary side are Chelsea Hernandez Hope SchoolVero Compalich with YossiHansen Lin with God bless here, Julia Pontecorvo with Unfiltered (working title), and Cheryl Swain with Southmont Drive.

Labs offer project-specific support including one-on-one meetings and group sessions with experienced producers and industry consultants designed to help with promotion, financing, production, market navigation and more. After the lab, producers engage in a year-long fellowship.

Feature Film Lab advisors include Alison Rose Carter (I love the boosters), Dennis Davis (One day of them), Eugene Picculin (Bronze Brennan Perry Piccolin & Jacobs P.C.), Lucas Joaquin (The death of a rhinoceros), and Peter Saraf (Farewell). Document Lab consultants include Andrea Medic (The gray man), Gemma Juarez Allen (Castle), Remy Grilletti (The soundtrack to the coup), Darcy McKinnon (Natchez), and Lance Kramer (Lyat contract).

“This year’s projects reflect an extraordinary depth of vision, originality and storytelling ambition, and we are proud to support the producers who shepherd them,” Documentary and Artist Programs Director Christine Feeley and Director of Feature Film Production and Artist Support Shira Rockowitz said in a joint statement. “Working in partnership with an incredible network of distinguished producers and industry consultants, we look forward to working with these filmmakers from development to release, helping them navigate a dynamic landscape that requires curiosity, creativity and grit.”

The Sundance Institute Producers Program is supported by a grant from the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Charitable Foundation with additional support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Amazon MGM Studios, Wyck Godfrey, RAMO, APM Music, ESME GRACE, and an anonymous donor.
