Suhasini describes K Bhagyaraj's last moments: “I went for my usual morning walk, after he returned home, he said.”

The demise of legendary director K. Bhagyaraj has left the Tamil film industry in shock. While friends, relatives and actors from the film industry paid their respects, actress Suhasini revealed poignant information related to the veteran’s last moments.

Speaking to the press after paying her respects, she recalled her meeting with Bhagyaraj a few days before his death and said nothing seemed unusual. Her heartfelt words add another emotional chapter to the farewell of the famous director, known as the “King of the Script.”

Suhasini revealed that Bhagyaraj attended Khushboo’s daughter’s wedding in Goa with his family just two days before his death. “Mr Bhagyaraj left for Chennai the same night.

She added: “We only returned yesterday evening, and none of us imagined that something like this would happen.” Recalling his last morning, she added: “He even went for a normal morning walk. After returning home, he said he was suffering from chest pains, and the family immediately took him to Apollo Hospital.

She also remembered him with emotion, saying: “Until the end, he was a man who made everyone smile. He is no longer with us, and I hope his soul is at peace.”

Later, he worked in films like ‘Kizhakke Pogum Rail’ and ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’, but became famous when he played the lead role in the 1979 film ‘Puthiya Vaarpugal’.
