Sports anchor Shefali Bagga, also known for her participation in Bigg Boss 13, has strongly responded to the constant speculation linking her with cricketers, explaining that she is “fed up” with the assumptions drawn from her brief public appearances. In a recent chat with Filmygyan, Shefali addressed the rumors with Yuzvendra Chahal sparked by a viral video, while also speaking about her views on relationships and the kind of partner she wants.
“I’m just fed up”
Reacting to the dating rumours with Chahal, Shefali didn’t hold back.“I knew you were going to ask this question. But honestly, I don’t really want to answer this question because I’m tired. People’s thinking is so small – they assume dinner means dating.”She added that speculation exploded after one clip.“There was only one video, and suddenly social media was like, ‘Oh, are Shefali and Yuzvendra dating?’Given her profession, Shefali is often seen among cricketers, but she insists that gossip no longer affects her.“I really don’t care. Honestly, my threshold is over now. Say what you want to say. I know my truth, and the people around me know my truth.”
When asked if she would one day date a cricketer, she drew a clear line.“I think you asked me that last year too! But no, this is my profession. I don’t want to mix things up.”She also noted that the players she admires aren’t even options.“The people I admire – I admire Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni – are either married or retired. The rest are probably younger than me!”

“I want a man like this”
Speaking about her ideal partner, Shefali said that she values emotional presence and attention.“Attention, definitely. I like people who are a little nerdy, in the sense that when they’re with their girl, they’re completely with her.”“You can see how busy he is, but you can also see his love for Anushka – that obsession, that affection. I want a man like that,” she added, referring to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. For Shefali, it’s the small gestures that define a relationship.“The little things. I love the little gestures, they are the most important in life.”“I can make my own living, and everything else is sorted out. All I want is a kind, caring heart. A man who is obsessed with me – when he’s with me, he’s all with me. I want his attention.”Although she has a clear idea of what she wants, Shefali says relationships are not her current priority.“Not really. I’m not thinking about it right now. I’m very focused. There’s still plenty of time for all of that.”At the end of the conversation, Shefali also revealed that she is currently waiting for the release of her Bollywood films and others in the South, without revealing their titles.
