Seth Rogen and Olivia Wilde spend an unforgettable night with two neighbors in A24 movie trailer Invitation.
Wilde directed the film, which will hit theaters in limited release on June 26 after premiering at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Penelope Cruz and Edward Norton rounded out the cast for the film, which A24 landed in a bidding war.
Invitation The film revolves around Joe (Rogen) and Angela (Wilde), whose marriage is going through a difficult stage. The couple invites their upstairs neighbors (Cruise and Norton) to a dinner party, but the night doesn’t go as planned.
“We feel a very strong connection with you guys,” Cruise says in the trailer. “It’s like our little game,” she adds.
Later, Rogen had a question about which group members would be participating in an unspecified activity. “Just to be clear,” he asks, “you, you, her – and me? Me too?” This leads Cruz to confirm: “Yes, you too.”
