About Blake Lively’s upcoming affair with Justin Baldoni
Regarding the case, although 10 of the 13 claims have been dismissed, Lively’s legal team maintains that the focus remains on her claims of retaliation and defamation.“This case has been and will always be focused on devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively’s reputation because she stood up for her safety on set,” said Sigrid McCauley, one of Lively’s lawyers, according to Deadline. She added that Lively is looking forward to testifying at the trial and highlighting the coordinated online attacks targeting women in Hollywood. On the other hand, Baldoni’s legal team welcomed the decision, stressing that dismissal does not mean committing any violations. Attorneys Alexandra Shapiro and Jonathan Bach said: “Sexual harassment does not occur not because the defendants did nothing wrong, but because the court decided that Blake Lively was an independent contractor, not an employee.”
