Ryan Gosling prepares to host Saturday Night Live For the fifth time in the show’s latest promotion.

Well, technically, Hail Mary project The star’s Saturday appearance on the sketch comedy series will be his fourth – but he doesn’t acknowledge that until the end of the promo.

Titled “Ryan Gosling Thinks He’s Joining SNL’s Five-Timers Club,” the actor wears a robe embroidered with the number five in the promo, as he walks around Rockefeller Plaza acting like he owns the place.

After lighting a photo of Mickey Day, smoking a cigarette indoors and popping champagne on a fake horse, Day tries to put Gosling in his place by reminding him of how many times he’s been there. In reality She hosted the series.

“Dude, what the hell are you doing?” he asks Barbie The actor who answers: “Five-timers club, Michael.”

“This is her fourth time hosting,” Day explains, which prompts Gosling to do a spit-up. The two then pass through different… SNL Appearances throughout the year.

Gosling is currently on a press tour for Hail Mary projectwhich will be released on March 20. The film is based on the best-selling science fiction book by Andy Weir, and is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

While critics’ reviews have yet to be released, early feedback from those who attended press screenings has been positive.
