Netflix has ordered new seasons of its comedy series Running point And YA drama My Life with Walter Beuysthe streamer announced Wednesday in a presentation.

Season 3 of the drama is scheduled to premiere later this year, with season 4 set for 2027. Netflix has also picked up Dan Levy. Running Point will continue filming in Los Angeles as it tells the story — loosely based on Jeanie Buss’ time managing the Lakers — of a woman (Kate Hudson) taking the reins of a men’s professional basketball team. The renewal comes about three weeks after Season 2 premiered in April. It has been ranked among the top 10 English-language series on Netflix worldwide for the past three weeks.
Mindy Kaling, David Stassen and Ike Barinholtz are writers and executive producers Running pointwith Stassen serving as showrunner. Hudson, Howard Klein, Buss and Linda Rambis are also executive producers. Warner Bros. Television, where Kaling has an overall deal, is the studio.
My Life with Walter Beuys It comes from Sony Pictures Television, International Productions and iGeneration Studios. The show’s second season spent five weeks in the top 10 worldwide.
