Actress Rashmika Mandanna has sparked anticipation for her upcoming historical action drama ‘Ranabaali’ by sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse from the sets of the film. The actress posted a BTS picture on social media and hinted that an important scene featuring Vijay Deverakonda made her eagerly waiting to watch the film on the big screen.

A historical epic inspired by India’s past

‘Ranabali’ is inspired by lesser-known incidents from India’s history during the colonial era.

The film features Vijay Deverakonda in the role of a fierce warrior, while Rashmika Mandanna plays the character of his wife Jayamma.The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan and the cast also includes international actor Arnold Vosloo in a pivotal role.

The release date has already been announced

The makers have confirmed that ‘Ranabaali’ will release in theaters across the world on September 11, 2026. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s last film together was ‘Dear Comrade’, which received good reviews from audiences and was a hit at the box office.

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna’s last outing was ‘Cocktail 2’ which received mixed reviews and Vijay Deverakonda was recently seen in a cameo appearance in ‘Sing Geetham’.
