Actor Satya Dev is gearing up for the release of his upcoming psychological horror-comedy drama ‘Rao Bahadur’ directed by Venkatesh Maha. Backed by Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu’s production banner, the actor recently unveiled the teaser of the film.

In the 3-minute, 25-second teaser, an elderly man living with the final stages of liver cancer is presented. However, the character seems to be trapped in a strange situation where death does not arrive as expected.Satya Dev is seen in a completely different avatar in the film. The actor undergoes a major physical transformation and delivers a performance that appears emotional and intense.
His character seems stuck between memories and reality, making it difficult to separate fact from fiction.While sharing the teaser, the ‘Varanasi’ star wrote, “Remember…this is just a teaser.!! Really proud of this team for bringing the extraordinary vision of #RaoBahadur to life….”

A few days ago, the makers of the song also shared some of BTS’s work on making it. The footage shows the actor arriving on set and immediately getting ready for a long make-up session. A team of technicians carefully applies a bald cap and specialized prosthetics to create the vintage look.
They also add a long, gray-haired wig, a bushy beard, and a curly handlebar mustache.

Talking about the film, it also features Deepa Thomas as the female lead in the film. This project marks the second collaboration between Venkatesh Maha and Satya Dev after Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya.The film also stars Vikas Muppala, Bala Parasara, Anand Bharati, Pranay Vaka, and Master Kiran in important roles.Music is composed by Samaran Sai.The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 3.
