According to a Box Office Worldwide report, Yami Gautam’s special appearance “was in a position to push the narrative forward at a critical juncture”. The report also added that her appearance is scheduled to take place at the hospital. However, nothing has been confirmed by the manufacturers yet.

Meanwhile, an earlier report by MensXP said that Yami might reprise her role in Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike.
In the film, she played the character of an intelligence officer who works closely with the armed forces. However, the manufacturers have kept everything under wraps. Several other reports have suggested that even Major Vihaan Shergill played by Vicky Kaushal might have a cameo role in ‘Dhurandhar 2’. The speculations started after the post-credit scene of ‘Dhurandhar’ revealed that Ranveer’s Hamza is a character named Jaskirat Singh Ranji.
In the movie Uri, Kriti Kulhari’s character revealed that her husband of the same name had been martyred.In January this year, Midday Report stated that Vicky had already fired his part. As per the report, “Aditya has remained tight-lipped about the star power he brings to Dhurandhar 2. The director, who plans to build the world of Dhurandhar, has cleverly woven a musical score from Uri despite the difference in timelines of the two stories.”However, a Bollywood Hungama report denied the claims of Vicky being a part of ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
