Hot competition Fans are once again blessed with the gift of physical media.

Physical versions of Hot competitionThe soundtrack for is scheduled to hit stores in July. CD previews and vinyl versions, now available for pre-order, were released Tuesday by Milan Records. A new cassette version of the album was also announced.

The physical releases include Peter Peter’s award-winning score, which was released via streaming earlier this year, and a selection of fan favorite needle drops from the show including Wolf Parade, Feist, tATu, Harrison and more. But perhaps what’s most exciting for fans is that the upcoming release will include a never-before-heard version of the episode’s sixth song, “One Soul (Cottage Version).”

Vinyl comes in two different types – Montreal vs. Montreal version. Boston and the widely available Icy Infereno Edition, which will only be available on Milan’s website and select Sony direct-to-consumer retailers. The Montreal vs. Boston edition contains two discs, one titled Montreal Metros by Shane Hollander and the other titled Boston Raiders by Ilya Rozanov. The tablets of the Icy Inferno version are transparent, while other features prevent staining of their bands.

The newly announced cassette version of the soundtrack will be available for pre-order starting Wednesday from Milan Records and Sony Music Canada. The release features a clear ice strip with printed labels and inserts featuring images from the show.

All CD and vinyl releases feature liner notes from show creator Jacob Tierney and fold-out posters. The vinyl edition contains two photocards – sorry, trading cards – of Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander and Connor Story as Ilya Rozanov.
