Directed by Pushy Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ starring Ram Charan and Jhanvi Kapoor has become a hit after its theatrical release on June 4. With the film having completed its release on the big screens, its streaming platform has announced that it will be released on the digital space soon.
‘Peddi’ OTT release date
‘Peddi’ will begin streaming on streaming giant Netflix. The platform took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the poster of the film and wrote, “Aata marocchu kaani, monagadu mathram maradu”, which in English means, “The game may change, but the real hero/man remains the same.”
The team also announced that it will start streaming on July 9 and will be available to watch in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. They also teased that the film will be released on the same platform in Hindi soon.
Plot “Biddy”
Talking about the film, it tells the story of a cricketer who plays for any team willing to pay him. His life changes after he meets Appalasuri, a villager who has spent many years trying to stop the railways and official recognition of his village. Using his outstanding athletic skills, under the guidance of his mentor Pehelwaani Gournaidu, he grows from a player who only wants money to a dedicated athlete who is ready to make sacrifices for others.

Apart from the lead duo, the film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Gajapati Babu, Divyendu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan, Vijay Chandrasekhar, Rajatava Dutta, Sathya, John Vijay, Ajay Ghosh and many others in important roles.The film has been in theaters for over a month and has seen a global collection of Rs 338.98 crore according to trade analyst Sacnilk. In India it saw net collections of Rs 242.03 crore across 120,447 shows.On the work front, Ram Charan will next work with Sukumar in the upcoming film titled ‘RC17’. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of her next project ‘Lag Jaa Gale’.
