In an interesting development, it has been reported that Pawan Kalyan has been paid a minimal amount for the film.
According to Telugu123, the actor is said to have been paid nearly Rs 25 crore for his work in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, which is much less than the usual remuneration for an actor of his calibre. The report also states that Pawan Kalyan took an advance payment of around Rs 5 crore from the manufacturers nearly a decade ago and continued to receive payments after the project went on floors.

Instead of demanding a higher salary despite the delay and extended production schedule, Pawan Kalyan chose a different approach.
The actor has reportedly asked the makers to focus on recovering their investments first. Instead, he is believed to have told the filmmakers that they could share a portion of the profits with him after the film’s release if the project was successful.
