Ozzy Osbourne's AI avatar will be created in the US and UK this year: 'People can talk to him, and he'll talk back to you'

Ozzy Osbourne’s death was a huge shock to the entertainment industry. With a year to go, fans of the iconic star may be able to catch a glimpse of the star again. According to the latest reports, an AI 3D version of Osbourne will soon be set up, which will allow audiences to meet the late star in an augmented reality environment.

Ozzy Osbourne will be brought to life through an artificial intelligence hologram

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that while attending the 2026 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Sharon Osbourne and his son Jack Osbourne shared news of the artificial intelligence project with the world. They revealed that this move aims to preserve Osbourne’s legacy.“You can ask Ozzy anything, and he’ll answer you with his voice — and the answers will be what Ozzy would say,” Sharon revealed during the event, noting that the hologram will be able to use Osbourne’s actual voice and personality to answer fan questions in real time. The hologram won’t be located in just one place, as the family plans to create it all over the world. Sharon added during the event: “We’re going to take it around the world. People can talk to him, and he’ll respond.”The project is being developed by two tech giants, who will use the legend’s voice, image and movement to bring an AI-powered hologram to life. His son, Jack, called the project “scary,” and added that “it’s kind of scary that it’s really so precise,” Jack Osborne said during the exhibition panel.

“It will continue to exist digitally as long as we have computers.”Another report from Forbes stated that the specific locations of the 3D image have not yet been revealed, but other details have been shared. One of them is the fact that the software will be released in different locations in the United States, as well as the United Kingdom. It has also been confirmed that fans and netizens alike will be able to use interactive touchscreens to interact with Ozzy Osbourne.

Internet users react

Once the news broke online, fans and netizens alike shared their reactions to the news. Many expressed their disdain for this and suggested that this was something Ozzy would not have wanted. Someone commented on the same thread saying, “Awesome! It’s not even been a year since Ozzy died, and they’re already trying to commercialize and cash in on his memory.”Another person said: “It’s only been a year, why are they doing this?” “Sharon Osbourne is still extracting money from Ozzy. Even after his death. It’s shameful and disgusting, but on par with what Sharon has been thinking and doing for the past 25 years,” another social media user posted. The iconic singer-songwriter died a year ago, on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76.
