At the 72nd National Film Awards, Mammootty won the Best Actor award for Bramayugam.
Dhanush’s Raayan won the Best Tamil Film award, while his performance in Captain Miller earned him a special mention.
Rajkumar Periyasamy won the Best Director award for Amaran, and editor R. Califan won the Best Editing Award for the same film.
