'Myskin stood tall despite every betrayal', director Ram's bold speech wins hearts at 'Train' event.

It was an emotional night for Ram at the launch of the teaser of ‘Train’ with a touching speech by his good friend and director Myskin and Vijay Sethupathi. The event celebrated a first look at the film, but Rahm chose to talk about the struggles Mysskin has gone through over the past few years and the strength that kept him going.

His words received loud applause from the audience, making his speech one of the most memorable moments of the launch.

Ram praises Mysskin’s filmmaking style

Commenting on Mysskin’s journey, as reported by Vikatan Cinema, Ram said, “Psycho is Mysskin’s last released film. Six years ago, the audio launch of ‘Psycho’ happened. He completed ‘Pisaasu 2’ and ‘Train’ during this period, while another project is yet to be completed. He said, ‘He has gone through betrayals, disappointments, false accusations and thousands of humiliations in his career as a director trying to get his films done.’ to make.

Any normal person would have disappeared after experiencing so much pain at once. But Myskin put all that aside and stood tall. His faith in people is unwavering. “Even after so many wounds, he still loves people, and that is what has kept him alive in cinema.”

Ram describes Mysskin as the master of Tamil thrillers

Ram also spoke about Mysskin’s unique narrative style and the influence of his films. “You can confidently call Mysskin as the master of thrillers in Tamil cinema.

Except for ‘Nandalala’, almost all his films belong to the thriller genre. Explaining what makes the director different, Ram pointed out that Mysskin never treats crime as mere entertainment. Instead, it explores the feelings and circumstances behind each character, making the audience sympathize even with those who commit crimes.

It is this very depth that Ram sees as the defining quality of Mysskin’s cinema compared to other typical thrillers.

High hopes for the first collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and Mysskin

Ram concluded his speech by saying that a lot of collaboration was expected between Vijay Sethupathi and Mysskin. Ram clearly loved Vijay Sethupathi’s versatility in making entertaining, content-driven films like ‘Pizza’, ‘Navuvula Kunjam Pakata Kanom’, ‘Nanum Rowdy Dhan’ and ‘Maharaja’. According to Ram, this combination makes “Train” very predictable.
