Made in Chelsea Alumnae Sophie Habbo and Jamie Ling will star in a new Disney+ reality show, Chelsea lift.

The three-part limited series will premiere on the platform on April 2 in the UK and Ireland, and will follow the reality stars turned presenters and social media personalities as they face the “messy, scary and funny reality of becoming parents.”

The plot synopsis reads: “Pregnancy begins with joy, before panic quickly sets in, as medical jargon, home renovations and family opinions pile up. Fun-loving, workaholic Jamie says he’s the boy who wouldn’t grow up and struggles to see himself in the role of father. Meanwhile, Sophie balances the highs of her career with the excitement of becoming a mother, with raging hormones and fears of maternity leave and motherhood affecting her career.”

“Jamie and Sophie plunge into the drama of labor to finally meet their baby – and with family and friends never far apart, they laugh and cry their way through the joy and chaos.”

Made in Chelseawhich was first broadcast in 2011, chronicles the personal and professional lives of the affluent young elite in the upscale neighborhoods of Belgravia, Chelsea, Fulham and Knightsbridge in west London. Habbo and Ling met on the hugely popular reality show in 2019 before announcing their engagement in 2021. They married in 2023 and in December, their son Ziggy was born.

The business-savvy couple have gone from strength to strength in recent years with their NearlyWeds and NearlyParents podcasts. They regularly host red carpet events in London and appear in several reality shows on the British television circuit.
