Linguistic performance

The Tamil version led the collections with Rs 2.40 crore on the fourth day with 21% occupancy.

The Telugu version added 60 lakh with 19% occupancy. The film added Rs 70 lakh from foreign markets on the fourth day. This takes the total external output to Rs 9.00 lakh crore. With India’s total at Rs 29.50 lakh crore, the global collection now stands at Rs 38.50 lakh crore after four days.

Mixed reviews about Pradeep Ranganathan’s film

The film is getting mixed reviews online. “The futuristic romantic comedy Love Insurance Company is a mixed experience that squanders a great premise on a weak and shallow script,” one viewer wrote.

While the idea of a world where love is controlled by a high-tech app is “cool” for a sci-fi scenario, the film fails to give the story any real emotional depth. Pradeep Ranganathan is energetic as Vasu, the man trying to prove that human emotions are stronger than a computer algorithm.

His chemistry with SJ Suryah’s evil CEO is the highlight of the film, with their confrontation scenes providing the only real spark of excitement.

Krithi Shetty looks beautiful on screen, but her character often seems like a flat model for social media addicts rather than a real person we should care about.Another comment read: “A good concept and many unique things were wasted due to poor script, fake acting and lack of emotional connection. Not sure why Keerthy Shetty’s acting is so fake and unable to connect. What makes PR fall so much love on Keerthy Shetty (actually Gauri Kishan’s acting was much better than Keerthy’s) Yogi Babu’s comedy was more annoying than enjoyable.”

There were too many insta-stars, too many scenes were like insta-reels (we paid to see the movie not the insta-reels), and the same old acting and mannerisms as in Dragon, my friend which is like being repeated over and over again.

A lot of money is used for nothing. The first half was as annoying as anything. The music is also like Insta Reels.”
