Lisa Burnett Fefferman joins Anonymous Content as its new Head of Communications

Lisa Burnett Fefferman accessed anonymous content.

The veteran publicity and communications executive, who left her role as executive vice president of communications at Paramount Studios Showtime/MTV Entertainment amid the David Ellison merger at Skydance, has been hired by Anonymous Content in the newly created role of chief communications and marketing officer. She reports directly to Anonymous Content President and CEO Darren Walker.

At the premium content and management company, Fefferman will be tasked with leading a centralized communications and marketing organization across the three Anonymous Content segments. She joins as the company prepares six TV premieres over the next 18 months including Savant Starring Jessica Chastain; East of Aden Starring Florence Pugh; Neuromancer Starring Callum Turner; 12 12 12 Starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan; Classic American Starring Kevin Kline; And adaptation Little house on the meadow.

On the film front, Anonymous Content is producing the Tom McCarthy film Statement Based on the book Loss of land Starring Paul Rudd, Evan Peters, Amy Ryan, Paul Giamatti, John Turturro, Tatiana Maslany and Jason Clarke.

At Paramount, she supervised a large team and managed corporate strategy, crisis management, media relations, awards, social impact and internal communications. She has overseen hundreds of new and returning launches including important studio franchises such as Taylor Sheridan Yellowstone universe, South Park and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. During her tenure, she founded and co-leads MTV Documentary Films, which has received seven Academy Award nominations, two Peabody Awards, four Emmy Awards, and 12 Emmy Award nominations.

Fefferman’s resume includes senior leadership positions at RADiUS-TWC, Samuel Goldwyn Films, and The Weinstein Company. She began her career at Dan Klores Communications where she created DKC/Film.
Fefferman is a member of AMPAS, BAFTA and the Television Academy.

Anonymous Content, founded by the late Steve Golin in 1999, represents a roster of more than 200 directors, writers, actors and comedians. The company operates a merchandising division and a film and television production division. Since 2016, Laurene Powell Jobs’ Emerson Collective has held a majority stake.
