Lil Wayne gives love another chance.The rapper is reportedly engaged again. TMZ reports that the 43-year-old, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., quietly popped the question to a mystery woman earlier this year.Although Wayne and his representatives have not publicly confirmed the engagement, the report states that the woman in question is said to be in her 20s and resides in Indiana.The reported engagement comes after a turbulent period in the Grammy winner’s romantic and professional life. Lil Wayne made headlines in April for speaking out about feeling overlooked at some of the music industry’s biggest events, like the Grammys and Coachella.Recently, on the personal front, Denise Bidot, the rapper’s ex-girlfriend, accused him of ending their relationship via text message on Mother’s Day. “Breaking up with someone on Mothers,” she wrote in her post [sic] Today is devilish. Pray though. God always attracts me. Walk by faith.”In a video shared online, the plus-size model accused the rapper of alleged “emotional and physical abuse.”
She also claimed that the rapper pulled her and her daughter out of their shared living.Before his relationship with Bidot, the “Lollipop” hitmaker was engaged to model La’Tecia Thomas. The couple separated in 2020. Wayne is also the father of four children from previous relationships. He shares his son Neil with singer Nivea, his son Cameron with Lauren London, and his son Dwayne Michael Carter III with radio host Sarah Vivan. He also shares daughter Regina Carter with ex-wife Toya Johnson.
