'Lenin' Trailer: Akhil Akkineni starrer expected to release on this day before hitting theaters in July

Telugu actor Akhil Akkineni will next be seen in the upcoming village romantic drama, ‘Lenin’ starring alongside Bhagyashree Borse. With the film announced to hit theaters on July 10, the latest reports and online discussions suggest that the trailer may be released very soon.

According to a report by 123Telugu, the makers are planning to release the trailer on June 30, 2026. It is necessary to note that an official confirmation has not been received from the team yet.‘Lenin’ is a highly anticipated film especially for Akhil Akkineni, who is still making a comeback after his last appearance in ‘Agent’ which was released in 2023. The film upon its release turned out to be a disappointment.

About “Lenin”

Lenin is a rural drama film directed by Murali Kishore Appuru, that tells a passionate love story with a social theme.Interestingly, actress Srileela was originally a part of the project. She was even featured in an early glimpse released by the filmmakers. However, she later exited the film due to reported scheduling issues, and Bhagyashree Borse joined the cast.

Delayed release of “Lenin”.

Talking about the release of ‘Lenin’, it has been postponed several times as it was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters on May 1. However, the makers postponed the film after Ram Charan’s Peddi was scheduled to arrive on April 30.

Announcing the decision on social media, the makers said, “With the arrival of our dearest Mega Power star Ram Charan in Bedi, we believe this is the right time to celebrate cinema together in a positive and healthy environment.” They also said that the decision was taken because of the good relationship shared between Ram Charan and Akhil Akkineni.The makers later announced that the film will be released on 26 June 2026. But the film was postponed again. It is now scheduled to hit theaters on July 10.
