Kriti Sanon's family doubles their money, selling four apartments in Mumbai for Rs 8.9 crore

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, along with her sister Nupur and mother Geeta Sanon, has sold four apartments in Andheri West, Mumbai, to director Mukesh Chhabra for Rs 8.9 crore. The family bought these apartments between 2013 and 2017 for Rs 4.31 crore, making a profit of nearly 107%.

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has made a major real estate move in Mumbai. She, her sister Nupur Sanon and mother Geeta Sanon sold four apartments in Andheri West for a total price of Rs 8.9 crore.

Kriti Sanon’s family makes 107% profit from properties in Mumbai

According to Square Yards, the Sanon family originally purchased these four apartments between 2013 and 2017 for a total of around Rs 4.31 crore. With the value of the latest sale at Rs 8.9 lakh crore, the family has made a profit of around Rs 4.6 lakh crore, a capital gain of nearly 107% over a holding period of nine to thirteen years, making it a very rewarding investment in the long term.

According to property registration documents, all four transactions were registered on the same day, April 24, 2026. Two of the flats, both located in Raheja Classique in Andheri West, were the largest on the plot. Each of them was sold for Rs 3.23 crore, has 654.23 sq ft in built-up area and has one parking space. For both these units, the stamp duty paid was Rs 19.41 lakh and the registration fee was Rs 30,000.

The remaining two apartments in the same building are priced at Rs 1.21 crore each. Smaller in comparison, these units have a built-up area of ​​246.06 square feet. Each transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs 7.29 lakh, along with a registration fee of Rs 30 lakh per unit.

How did Kriti Sanon’s family get the four apartments in Mumbai?

Reports suggest that Geeta Sanon was the first in the family to invest in the property, purchasing the two larger apartments in July 2013 for a combined price of Rs 1.40 crore. Several years later, in June 2017, sisters Kriti and Nupur added the remaining two units to the family portfolio for a total of Rs 2.90 crore. In total, the family spent around Rs 4.31 crore to get all the four flats.
